Hedgehogs & Roundabouts is where we (Mark and Nats) share our love of travelling with the wider world.
Nats moved out of her native France in the early 2000’s to pursue a love affair with the UK and has never looked back – she’s even a proud British citizen. However, the travel bug has never left her and her job as an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher has given her opportunities to teach in Vietnam and Spain, and her second job as a seasonal European Tour Director regularly takes her to many new places, as well old favourites. As a vegan, she’s always on the lookout for the plant-based food scene, sometimes it’s a challenge, sometimes it’s pure bliss!
Mark is originally from New Zealand, and like many other kiwis has a love of travelling – possibly due to the fact that growing up there one has to travel vast distances to get anywhere! Since leaving New Zealand he’s had stints in Berlin and Madrid, but has mainly been based in the UK. A lover of food and drink he’s always interested in the local cuisine, with a particular interest in coffee (being from Wellington he’s something of a coffee snob) and craft beer.
Both share a love of travelling and discovery, whether it be new cultures, history, landscapes, food or architecture.
Based in London, the travel options are limitless, so the next adventure is always around the next corner – whether that be exploring the delights our city has to offer, or further afield (time and finances permitting).
